About: Straight from them to you!

It all began with a parcel of vines. And we all know just how important these individual bits of land are in Burgundy. It was with the purchase of the Beaune Premier Cru Clos des Ursules that the story of Maison Louis Jadot began in 1826.

1859: The laying of the first stone

Three decades. That’s the time it took Louis Henri Denis Jadot to found our house, in 1859, and to lay the foundations of a family-owned domaine. He would contribute to the renown of the wines of Burgundy by developing a negociant business focused on selling the wines in Northern European markets. His descendants followed in his footsteps at the head of the family business.

T2 CELLAR 2018 CABERNET SAUVIGNON Red Willow Vineyard: $38

(Carefully curated notes below are taken from the Producer’s website)

Varietal Composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Location: Red Willow Vineyard / Yakima Valley / Washington / USA

Cellar Aging: Drink now or cellar for 10 years

A Few More Details

From unusually small berries, the 2018 Cab from Red Willow Vineyard is an intense, concentrated wine with a backbone of tannins that, three years in bottle, have begun to integrate enough to show an approachable wine. This is a wine that will relax over time, developing finesse and suppleness for years to come.

Tasting Notes

Expect rich aromas of roasted coffee bean, cedar, raspberry, graphite, and black cherry. On the palate, it is bold and stylish with flavors of raspberry, black cherry, and boysenberry.
