(Carefully curated notes below are taken directly from the Producer’s website)
Varietal Composition
Sensual and elegant with a light pink hue, the Brut Rosé is dominated by an intense fruity nose of morello cherries and the freshness of citrus fruits. On the palate, it continues to charm you with its freshness and fruitiness. It will ideally accompany lightly spiced dishes and shellfish. The Brut Rosé is composed of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Wine Spectator 90 points
Location/Terroir
Marne Valley, Champagne, France
Food Pairing
- Excellent with shellfish (oysters, shrimp, crab ceviche) — the bubbles and acidity refresh the palate.
- Pairs beautifully with rich, oily fish such as salmon, tuna, or mackerel — the fruit-driven brightness balances the texture and umami
- Soft and mild cheeses like brie, camembert, fresh goat cheese — the creamy texture harmonizes perfectly with the Champagne’s acidity and red-fruit notes
- Also ideal with charcuterie such as prosciutto and cured salami, where the light fruitiness counterpoints the saltiness
- Excellent with pork dishes, ranging from pork loin to pork belly, especially when paired with citrus or fruit glazes.
- Roast chicken, chicken liver parfait, or even quail en croute
- Great with seafood appetizers like crab or prawn tartare.
- Also lovely alongside fresh salads with berries, nuts, or goat cheese in the mix
About the producer!
Each bottle is a journey to the land of tastes, sensations, and atmospheres. Champagne inspires dreams, it touches the intelligence, the imagination, it awakens spirituality. Chardonnay, green gold, with lively bubbles, invigorating, with scents of fresh almonds, is accomplished with subtle nuances of dried herbs. It leads to meditation, perhaps to philosophy, it helps to seduce. Pinot Noir takes us to the land of sensuality and passion. Straw yellow, the color of ripe wheat, it is fruity, fleshy, ample and round, sometimes rustic. Ideal for a late evening, for a sleepless night, to the point of ecstasy… Pinot Meunier incites tenderness, alliances.
