Tasting Notes
The Wädenswil Block from Corrine Vineyard beautifully illustrates why Oregon has become one of the world’s premier Pinot Noir regions. Aromas of fresh raspberry, Bing cherry and cranberry are layered with rose petals, black tea, baking spices and subtle earthy notes. The palate is elegant yet concentrated, featuring silky tannins, vibrant natural acidity and remarkable precision. As the wine opens, flavors of wild strawberry, red currant, orange peel and savory herbs unfold into a lingering finish marked by mineral tension and exceptional balance. This is a Pinot Noir that combines delicacy with depth, inviting slow contemplation.
Food Pairings
Pair with duck breast, roasted salmon, herb-roasted chicken, wild mushroom risotto or pork tenderloin with cherry reduction. It also complements grilled tuna, roasted root vegetables and creamy cheeses such as Brie or Camembert. Its bright acidity makes it especially well suited for dishes featuring earthy mushrooms or subtle herbs.
Producer
Patricia Green Cellars has earned a reputation as one of Oregon’s most respected Pinot Noir producers through its obsessive focus on individual vineyard expressions. Rather than pursuing a uniform house style, the winery emphasizes the unique personality of each site and clone. Corrine Vineyard’s Wädenswil Block highlights one of Pinot Noir’s historic Swiss clones, prized for producing wines with exceptional perfume, elegance and complexity. Careful farming, restrained oak use and minimal intervention allow the vineyard itself to remain the star.

Producer
Anne Amie Vineyards sits atop the rolling hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, where cool-climate conditions foster wines of elegance and freshness. The winery has long embraced both classic European varieties and lesser-known grapes like Müller-Thurgau, believing they can thrive in Oregon’s climate. Their thoughtful vineyard stewardship and restrained winemaking philosophy consistently produce wines that emphasize purity, balance and a strong sense of place.
